ABOUT ME
Bonjour! I'm Prajwal and I am passionate about languages, particularly French. I get immense pleasure from sharing my knowledge of this beautiful language with others, which I have been doing for more than 12 years.
​
I became a French teacher at the Alliance Française de Bangalore in 2008. Ever since, I have taught elementary, intermediate and advanced level general and professional French to adults and high school students.
​
I have developed pedagogical skills not only to teach French as a foreign language but also to make classes dynamic and interesting thanks to training programmes I attended in various modules including teaching grammar, phonetics, written and spoken French as well as listening and reading comprehension at the Alliance Française, Centre universitaire d'études françaises (CUEF), Grenoble and CAVILAM-Alliance Française in Vichy, France. I particularly enjoy conducting conversation classes based on news topics, literature, art, culture and history among other things.

Having lived in different parts of France and travelled extensively across the country, I am well-versed in French culture including art, gastronomy, wines and different aspects of the language including accents and slang and I try to integrate these interesting features in my classes.
​
In Canada, I have experience teaching public servants of the federal government of Canada and the CLIC programme - Cours de langue pour immigrants au Canada - for new immigrants.
​
Lastly, as a certified examiner and corrector of DELF-DALF exams (all levels from A1 to C2) and TEF - Test d'Evaluation du Français (a language test to immigrate to Canada and to become a naturalised citizen of France), I have many years of experience conducting these exams.
​
Corporate French experience in the following companies: Accenture, Hewlett-Packard, Chanel, Bosch, Schneider Electric, Decathlon, TATA Consulting Services (TCS), Société Générale, Faiveley Transport, TBC World Quebec.

CLASSES
VOUS VOULEZ PARLER FRANÇAIS ? ALLONS-Y !
Conversation classes: discussions in French on topics based on your interests including travel, art, history, wine, food, culture, politics...Based on your level, I can review or teach you grammar during these conversations.
General French classes: Learn the basics of this beautiful language. If you already have the basics, we can take it from there.
Tutoring for high school students or home-schooled students.
Phonetics workshop: Don't be intimidated by French pronunciation. It's pretty logical so let's tackle it together!
TEF-Canada and DELF-DALF exam preparatory classes. Want to apply to be a permanent resident (PR) or get a diploma? I can help! I am a certified TEF and DELF-DALF examiner.

Price: $50 per person per hour with a free 30 minute session.
5% off for a package of 10 hours, 10% off for a package of 15 hours.
All classes are online on Zoom or Skype or any other platform so your location doesn't matter as long as the timings suit both of us.
